RESOLVED: Ammendment of item 53/2425 date to 19th Sept 24, the minutes of the meeting be accepted as a true and proper record.

District and County Councillor reports and feedback

Cllr.S.Bunney:-

Discussion with the Road Safety Partnership following accident Christmas Eve involving two lorries and 2 fatalities. Infrastructure needs investigating, diversions down side roads are not suitable. Some junction visibility needs improvement.

Devolution and Mayoral role will happen, will be kept informed as to how this translates for West Lindsey area.

WLDC, Community Energy Schemes, will include village halls for conversion to net zero.

Community Team at Lincolnshire Coop are looking for  local green space / clean up opportunities to support this spring

Highways, keep pushing re potholes and pathways

WLDC have submitted their bid for RAF Scampton and awaiting news re offer acceptance

West Burton Power Station have been awarded funding for conversion to nuclear fusion, this is just across the river Trent. This will create job opportunities, WLDC are hoping to boost their economy by looking at infrastructure to enable people to travel easily across

Green Bins £46.00 each place order

Grass Cutting Contract 2025 £93.60 per cut from £89.62 increase of just under 4.5%

Community Speed Watch (CSW) scheme.  Parish does not have a group of volunteers to undertake roadside checks.  Agreed to advertise on facebook and in the Triangle to hopefully recruit volunteers and investigate further.

Temporary Traffic Order for Moor Road Closure for Bridge maintenance Period of restriction: 06/01/2025 - 28/02/2025

Police and Crime update

NC06 area reports circulated for November, no report for December. There was an incident in the village, which has been dealt with. No immediate concerns in the Parish.

Telephone Box £400.00 donation received from councillor initiative fund. BHT are scheduling to do the work in spring.
